The IT department at H-BRS (FB02) takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. We process personal data that is collected when you visit our website, taking into account the applicable data protection regulations. We will neither publish your data nor pass it on to third parties without authorization. In the following we explain what data we collect during your visit to our website and how exactly they will be used:

Access data

When you visit our website, our web server temporarily stores each access in a log file. The following data is recorded and stored until it is automatically deleted:

  • IP address of the requesting computer
  • date and time of the access
  • name and URL of the fetched data
  • amount of transferred data
  • notification if the fetch was successful
  • recognition data of the used browser and operation system
  • website where the access is originated

This data is processed for the purpose of enabling the use of the website (establishing a connection), the system security, the technical administration of the network infrastructure as well as for the optimization of the internet offer.
The IP address is only evaluated in the event of attacks on the network infrastructure of the FB.

Beyond the cases mentioned above, personal data will not be processed unless you expressly consent to further processing. Pseudonymous user profiles can be used in accordance with the explanations created for web analysis (see below).

Cookies and other active content

We only use cookies on our websites to store data for technical session control in the memory of your browser. This data is deleted when you close your browser.
In addition to cookies, the website uses JavaScript and CSS to support navigation and display.

Spam

The use of the contact data published in the imprint or other places such as postal addresses, telephone and fax numbers and, in particular, e-mail addresses by third parties for the purpose of sending unsolicited messages information is not permitted. Legal steps against the senders of so-called spam mails in the event of violations of this ban are reserved.

Right of access

Upon your written request, we will be happy to inform you about the data stored about you.

Web analysis

We reserve the right to completely anonymize the data collected during access for statistical purposes with free open source software such as Analog or Awstats, which means that it is not possible to identify individual persons. The stored data is not linked to other data sources or passed on to third parties.
